I thought it was time
for a health update, so here it is. In the 11 months since I
left Maine Medical Center in Portland I've gained almost 60 pounds,
and probably 80% of my strength. I've been cancer free for over
12 months, and I feel pretty good most of the time. I'm working
a few days a week in produce at Hannaford Brothers supermarket
in Wells, Maine (please stop by and say hello if you're up in
the area!), and while I find the work strenuous, I find it rewarding,
too - lots of interacting with a very diverse group of people.
I have several other interesting projects going on, including
a new webcam setup for the Seaside, you should be able to view the
results of that in the next few weeks. I'm very much looking
forward to the crisp, cool, bright days of fall - my favorite
time of the year, when every bend in the road is a new adventure
in the beauty of the foliage and, as always, I do hope you'll
