June 2006 will be remembered for record rains and flooding in
Southern Maine, although the damage was somewhat overrated by
the news media. The rains worked wonders on the flowers (Mutley's
"Lilacs") it was such a joy to see, since we spent
last June in a hospital bed. ~ John
